1. Introduction
Trinity Enterprise L.L.C. (“Trinity”) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced grant writing professionals or firms to provide grant writing and grant administration support services related to a new residential construction project funded in part by the Michigan State Housing & Development Authority (MSHDA). This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued as a public solicitation to identify a qualified Grant Writer.
2. Organizational Background
Trinity Enterprise L.L.C. is a Michigan-based real estate investment and development company focused on residential construction, redevelopment, and long-term housing solutions. Trinity owns and manages approximately 150 residential units across 34 properties in the Greater Lansing area and has extensive experience with property renovations and capital improvement projects.
3. Scope of Services
Services may include review of MSHDA grant requirements, preparation and submission of grant documentation, coordination with project stakeholders, assistance with reporting and post-award compliance, and communication with applicable agencies.
4. Minimum Qualifications
Respondents should demonstrate experience with MSHDA or similar state-funded grants, knowledge of Michigan housing programs, strong written communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
5. Proposal Submission Requirements
Proposals must include a cover letter, qualifications and experience, proposed approach, fee structure, and at least two professional references.
6. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on experience, understanding of grant requirements, clarity of approach, cost effectiveness, and references.
7. Additional Terms
Trinity Enterprise L.L.C. reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and is not obligated to award a contract. All proposal preparation costs are the responsibility of the respondent. Any awarded contract will be subject to MSHDA requirements and approvals.
